Notes:
Members and local students are only required to Log-In when a PTP page is requested.
There is apparently a rogue login box that appears when accessing the main page, this is not a hacker after your details so don't worry. Just click on cancel. The next time you visit the site, it should have cleared??
Say a prayer to the web-glitch fairy.

The Log-In process:
The correct log-in box will be activated when a PTP page is requested
for example:- http://www.watercolourclass.co.uk/PTP/daisies-grass-04-ptng.htm
Accessing a page with PTP in the URL is the only time you should need a Password.
Occasionally the login box below is activated, (reason unknown & investigating)
in this event click on cancel, go to class projects page,
scroll down and select the page
you wish to view.
If instead you enter your login details you will get "Not Authorised to View" message.
Once you have clicked its OK button, the box will repeatedly pop up
Please click its cancel button.
It should not appear at your next visit.

Having selected your class project, for example: Daisies in long grass

| Below is an email from Don relating his experience, with his permission I include it here as an aid to overcoming the problem. |
Tony,
Thank you for the new log-in details - you can cancel the replacements
as I found the answer to the problem, after emailing you.
I tried an alternative approach and found the reason for the initial problem.
I had bookmarked your home page. http://www.watercolourclass.co.uk/
When I open up via the bookmark a message comes up on my screen asking for user name and password
Each time I type in my user name and password, the same message re-appears.
I now cancel this message and click on one of the PTP items.
Up comes the log in box. I insert my details and - Hey Bingo - I am accepted.
Since receiving your email I have looked closely at the wording of both log in messages and see that in the automatic pop-up box, the user name and password are required by :- www.artbyforster.com.
whlist in the PTP pop-up box they are required by:-
www.watercolourclass.co.uk
BINGO - there lies the solution.
I still get the first message when I try to log on, but that is now no problem as I just cancel it and go to PTP.
Perhaps this is the same problem experienced by other people - the main reason being, I suspect, we do not bother to read the small print of log in boxes, but just go ahead as if everything is correct.
However, thank you for your help. I now have to try to find out how to stop the initial log-in box from appearing - I will experiment a bit more.

| and an email from Sue relating to a similar problem, with my answer. |
Hi Tony
I haven't accessed the site for a long time but am now unable to get past
the password login! I'm sure it worked ok before.
I am typing the password etc as shown in your welcome email below??? Has anything
changed?
--------------------------------
Hi Sue
One or two people have been experiencing the same problem,
apparently if you click on cancel when the unrequested
login box appears,
then scroll down the main class page:
http://www.watercolourclass.co.uk/art-class/index.php
until you reach a PTP class project you wish to view, click on it,
the correct login box
will appear, now enter your details and the log-in
box will accept them and the desired member's page
should appear.
I have not experienced this problem myself so can only relate
what one of the students did to get around the problem.
please let me know how you get on.
regards
Tony
