PAINTING A SIMPLE SKY
PAINTING OLD BRICKWORK
I used just these two parts of the painting process as examples of typical application techniques.
Everyone paints in their own particular way, purist watercolourists use apparently simple
strokes that are difficult to emulate, achieving extraordinary results that seem to be unrepeatable fluid accidents of magical brushwork.
I seem to have to labour for my results which sometimes take far too long to achieve and can often be boring to watch.
So the above two example are not too difficult to follow and don't take too long.
